Anthony Momon, the ASU Police Department's Support Services commander, is on administrative leave. A department spokesperson confirmed it but would not say whether it is tied to an internal investigation or something else. It is not clear how long Momon has been on leave or who is running Support Services in the meantime. Momon was promoted to commander in April 2024.

The spokesperson also said a second commander, Daniel Macias, has retired and is no longer with the department. ABC15 did not report any wrongdoing, and administrative leave is not a finding of misconduct.

ASU's side / contextASU Police said it does not discuss personnel matters or the reasons behind changes in an employee's status.
