Viral video: ASU cheerleader thrown to the ground during Tempe arrest
Bodycam video shows Tempe police shoving senior Eryn Bonner to the ground and pinning her against a police bike as officers arrested two of her friends outside a nightclub. She was left bruised and later charged with two misdemeanors; her attorney calls the force excessive.
ASU's side / contextThis involved Tempe Police, not ASU Police. Tempe police say she struck an officer; the department has an internal review underway.
